{"id":1139,"date":"2025-10-17T13:25:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T16:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/galpaodasmaquinas.com.br\/noticias\/?p=1139"},"modified":"2026-02-09T18:52:55","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T18:52:55","slug":"mst-rebar-investimento-eua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/galpaodasmaquinas.com.br\/noticias\/mst-rebar-investimento-eua\/","title":{"rendered":"MST Rebar investe US$ 15,5 mi em f\u00e1brica nos EUA e cria 83 empregos"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A canadense <strong>MST Rebar Inc.<\/strong>, fabricante de vergalh\u00f5es de pol\u00edmero refor\u00e7ado com fibra de vidro (GFRP), anunciou um investimento de <strong>US$ 15,5 milh\u00f5es<\/strong> para construir sua primeira f\u00e1brica nos Estados Unidos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A unidade ser\u00e1 instalada na cidade de <strong>Bladenboro<\/strong>, no estado da Carolina do Norte, e deve gerar <strong>83 empregos diretos<\/strong> com sal\u00e1rios m\u00e9dios de <strong>US$ 54,3 mil por ano<\/strong>, valor acima da m\u00e9dia local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fundada no Canad\u00e1, a MST Rebar \u00e9 reconhecida mundialmente pelo desenvolvimento do <strong>MST-BAR\u00ae<\/strong>, um vergalh\u00e3o composto de fibra de vidro que substitui o a\u00e7o convencional em estruturas de concreto. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O material \u00e9 mais leve, n\u00e3o sofre corros\u00e3o e tem vida \u00fatil at\u00e9 quatro vezes maior, reduzindo custos de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e o impacto ambiental de obras de infraestrutura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A nova planta norte-americana ser\u00e1 dedicada \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de barras GFRP para os setores de constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil, obras portu\u00e1rias e pontes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> A companhia informou que o investimento faz parte de uma estrat\u00e9gia para <strong>ampliar sua presen\u00e7a na Am\u00e9rica do Norte<\/strong>, atendendo \u00e0 crescente demanda por materiais sustent\u00e1veis e resistentes em regi\u00f5es de clima \u00famido e exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 salinidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O projeto conta com incentivos do governo estadual e da <strong>Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC)<\/strong>, que busca reindustrializar munic\u00edpios do interior com base em tecnologias avan\u00e7adas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo a prefeitura de Bladenboro, a instala\u00e7\u00e3o da MST Rebar deve impulsionar o com\u00e9rcio local e atrair fornecedores do setor de comp\u00f3sitos e engenharia civil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de GFRP \u00e9 vista como uma alternativa estrat\u00e9gica ao a\u00e7o tradicional em pa\u00edses que buscam neutralidade de carbono.
